I am walking in the Charlotte Avon Walk this year, and I am part of the Solo Strutters Hugs Tiny Ta Ta's Team. It is my first year walking, and I was just looking through some of the team members websites, to get familair with some of the faces and hear their stories. Monica's story is very touching, and I am honored to be part of the walk for women like her. I hope I get to meet you in Charlotte. My thoughts and prayers go out to you & your family!

Hi Dale,

I hope you and the boys are well. I used to work with Monica at Corel and I just found out about Monica's passing. I loved the videos and the blog as I was reminded of her smile, her laughter and her uncanny ability to always be a the center of the fun.

I wish you and the kids all the best.

I went to WTW with Monica and I just found out this morning about her long struggle with this horrible disease. My heartfelt sympathy to your whole family and may God keep all of you close during this very sad time.

Oh my gosh, I am so sadden to read that we lost Monica. It has been years since we were work buddies, but my memories of her are strong. She was a delight. It feels like a light turned off in this world. My sincere condolence on your loss.

This website has been infectious for me. Dale, you definitely have to place all of the diary entries, video clips, blogs, etc. in a book. What you have written is an example we all can follow. This is a love story. Your desire to keep your wife forever living in our hearts has touched thousands. For this, I thank you. I am a one survivor of multiple myeloma and my husband is currently fighting the treatments from pancreatic cancer. Thank you for teaching us how to teach others. May God continue to bless you dearly.
