Please sign this Guestbook.   Monica and I would both love to see just who is out there in cyberspace keeping tabs on what's happening to us.  Please leave your name, your city of residence and maybe how you heard about this site.  We kind of know who's checking in, but I have a feeling that we're reaching way beyond just our cozy little  neighborhood.  Thanks!

I told you that you could do it, you have to believe in yourself. I was so surprised to see your team at check in. I was wondering around visiting with all of my good friends from the previous walks that I had done. I think that is was makes these walks so special, the people you meet and the relationships. Promising each other that you will be there the next year, it can give you that push. I knew I could not walk, but I could still visit.

Monica, I hope you will soon be feeling less pain. I also have had MRI's, but never for two hours, and they are absolutely horrible, valium or no valium! You were very brave to get through it. I picked up the latest Oprah magazine at the grocery store, and there is an article in there about cancer and some of the new therapy trials that are going on. There is also a website you can go to if you want to participate in one. I will try to rip out the article and bring it down to your house one of these days soon. All the best, Kerry P.S. I showed my husband your pond and he was very impressed!

Thanks so much for dedicating your walk through Boston for me. I will be starting Radiation right that next Monday, so the strength is needed. We are Rad'ng both hips, sacrum and spine, but not the hip ball unless it is fractured and weak'nd. There is a lot of disease in the lower back, so walking would just about put me through the roof. I appreciate you walking for me more than you know, standing now is even hard and painful. Maybe your walk in Boston will kick start the Rad on Monday to help with the pain...Yahooo!

Walk steady and strong.....hydrate and urinate!

When you have to walk that lonesome valley

I saw both of you on my first walk--six years ago. I remember that mohawk!

I am glad you share your journey. The positive attitude and "never give up" spirit is inspiring.

Monica and I are almost the same age. I was diagnosed at seven weeks pregnant, and throughout chemo, I still delivered a healthy baby.

Cancer is a horrible beast, and even at times when the disease is in remission, the body still pays a price for heavy chemotherapy protocols.

I pray that each day brings more pain relief for Monica...and more of those "special glances" between the two of you.

The video will be, and already is, priceless.

My prayers to ALL of you.

Let me first start out by saying what an amazing couple the two of you are. From the moment I met Monica and Dale at the Solo Strutters Eve dinner in DC, I am in awe of the love you show for each other, and for life. I am sure this is difficult, but as my faith teaches me when I think of my own father who just had a second battery inserted in his heart, we have to look beyond what the world's definition of possible and know that with God, nothing is impossible. Your story has motivated me personally to celebrate life and the people around me each day. Here's a verse from Paul to the Philippians, which has gotten my family and myself through difficult times: "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." (Phil 4: 6-7). I will continue to hold the two of you and your family in my prayers and thoughts.

Dale & Boys, My deepest sympathies to you all. Monica (and you) has touched my life through out her struggle. The thing I will remember the most about her is how her love for the Lord absolutely poured out of her. I am grateful for the privilege of knowing this tiny slice of her (from WOW). I will continue to hold you all in my prayers. Sincerely, Julianne

Thanks for showing many what a tough battle cancer can be. I have buried my mother and my sister from cancer related issues. It isn't a fun thing to watch. I pray they find a cure before I have to watch it again or put my children through it. I am 42 as well, so this strikes close to home.

God's blessings on you and your sons.

This website has been infectious for me. Dale, you definitely have to place all of the diary entries, video clips, blogs, etc. in a book. What you have written is an example we all can follow. This is a love story. Your desire to keep your wife forever living in our hearts has touched thousands. For this, I thank you. I am a one survivor of multiple myeloma and my husband is currently fighting the treatments from pancreatic cancer. Thank you for teaching us how to teach others. May God continue to bless you dearly.

      Hi Dale,

I hope you and the boys are well. I used to work with Monica at Corel and I just found out about Monica's passing. I loved the videos and the blog as I was reminded of her smile, her laughter and her uncanny ability to always be a the center of the fun.

I wish you and the kids all the best.

Thanks for sharing Monica on the web!

I am walking in the Charlotte Avon Walk this year, and I am part of the Solo Strutters Hugs Tiny Ta Ta's Team. It is my first year walking, and I was just looking through some of the team members websites, to get familair with some of the faces and hear their stories. Monica's story is very touching, and I am honored to be part of the walk for women like her. I hope I get to meet you in Charlotte. My thoughts and prayers go out to you & your family!
